2nd Street Parking Lot
Construction Completion
The paving of the 2nd Street
Parking Lot is complete. The contractor will paint the
parking space lines on Wednesday, June 10th. The
installation of the fencing, the landscaping, and the
directional sign will be completed next week.
The lights are on order and are expected to
be delivered and installed the week of July 16th.
The parking lot will be open to the public by
the end of the day on Friday, June 12th!
We hope all residents and visitors to the
City of Brighton enjoy the new parking lot! We feel it is a
great addition to Building a Better Brighton!

Update
The Second Street Parking Lot is moving along
steadily. The contractor will be laying the stone base
tomorrow and will starting the black top on Monday or
Tuesday of next week!

2nd Street Parking Lot
Construction Information
The City of Brighton’s contractor,
Contracting Resources, will begin working on a brand new
City parking lot on North Second Street, adjacent to the
railroad tracks, on Monday, May 18, 2009.
This parking lot will yield
approximately 50 new parking spaces as well as include storm
drainage, landscaping, and fencing. It is expected to take
approximately two weeks to complete the project.
