The second phase of the City of Brighton’s comprehensive sidewalk repair and maintenance program will begin in the coming weeks. In phase two of the program, the City’s contractor will replace sidewalks throughout the City of Brighton that are highlighted with a star on the 2017 Sidewalk Maintenance Map. The scope of the project is to replace sidewalks where significant trip hazards are present and permanently replace areas that have been temporarily repaired.
If a resident knows of any locations where trip hazards exist, they are asked to contact the City of Brighton Department of Public Works at 810.225.8001. Department staff will add any new locations to the master list of repairs to be done in a future stage of the sidewalk maintenance program.
