The City of Brighton is welcoming an exciting new addition to downtown Brighton! There will be a ground breaking ceremony Tuesday, August 8, at 9:30 a.m. where Dan Cheresko, President of Cheresko Development, LLC will begin construction on another vibrant development in the City of Brighton. This highly anticipated project will add to our dynamic Downtown through the redevelopment of 317 W. Main St, adding two new high quality buildings that will house restaurants, office space, and high-end apartments. Additionally, an outdoor courtyard will add to the aesthetic and character of Main St. with space for gathering, dining, and enjoying entertainment.
“It will be fantastic to have two more restaurants downtown and to see new business growth,” said Robert Herbst, Downtown Development Authority Chairperson. “The four proposed apartments are a great opportunity for people to call downtown Brighton their home.” The Downtown Development Authority is supporting the project with funding for a pedestrian walkway, which will allow the new site to have enhanced pedestrian access and connectivity.
“The City could not be happier to see this project move forward. Cheresko Development has worked closely with the City and captured everyone's excitement with his vision for and appreciation of downtown Brighton,” Mayor Muzzin commented in support of the new development.
Demolition of the former office building located at 317 W. Main Street in Downtown Brighton is set to begin on Tuesday, August 8.
